This is my gf's blm gear.
she only swap elemental staves to match her nukes

however i finaly almost convinced her to do swap for enfebling however she will nto have 2-3 differn gear set just for different enfebles

so any advice on a general enfeble set to make ?

notice she many times go /whm to do paralyze and slow and those are mnd based

so im thinking at least swap in witch sash instead of cognition belt for enfeebles right ?

Just make her a spellcast xml.

Than do her macro lines with

/ma "Fire" <t> /ma "Poison" <t> /ma "Stun" <t>

***changes itself. Never have to deal with this ***again.

Body/Legs/Head/Feet/Neck/Sub from that set are all cheap/easy to get and pretty standard. (Portent Pants are better if you can get them) Feet come from battle trophies and can have 4 enfeebling and some macc on them. Use Balrahn/Karka ring if you have it, Aureole or Sturms in Ammo, followed by phantom/snow satchet for ammo.

Any of those pieces that she doesn't want to swap out, use mnd gear for slow and para, and int gear for grav/bind/silence/blind/sleep etc.

thanks you for info.
but excatly having two different enfeeble swaps im not gonna be able to convince her to do yet. hence why i was thinking tammas ring (int & mnd) and witch sash (int and mnd and magic acc). she allready have those

and to all
sorry i forgot to put up her gear set

p.s.
is there thumb rules for magic accuracy compared to enfeeble skill ?

You're breaking my heart. D;

As for Magic Acc and Enfeeb skill. It doesn't really matter. They are so equal (imo) that there isn't a big difference at all. Basically rule of thumb 1 Acc = Skill.

So if it has 3 Magic Acc vs. 4 Skill, go with skill. Also can see some stuff like 4 Int, 4 Mnd 3 Acc vs 5 Skill, go with the Stats+ Acc.

Over all the stats will make the enfeeb more potent while skill and accuracy will help it land.

Her pc is not strong enough to run windoer in the right size as windover does not let you resize a little low resolution to a big window so she has to urn it an natural resolution for the size
(yes her ffxi look ugly)

and i need to fix her a better one

sadly she still does -na spells better sub whm than any full whm i have played with ...

*sigh* she makes me feel impotant as a player lol

so skill = acc basically like combat skill ty

ima just look at where she puts mab only and exchange that for modifier, maac or skill to boost her a bit

In all honesty, as a RDM i say use a general set like that with just +enfeeb. Fill other slots that you can't fill with enfeeb with chunks of M.Acc.

In my opinion building a MND set for BLM is almost pointless. Especially considering she doesn't want many new sets. INT, maybe, as BLM get a good amount of it and you would actually see good results from it but if she doesn't want many sets just don't bother. Just build a general enfeeb set and macro it in with the appropriate staff. Aquilo's for Paralyze, Terra's for Slow, Auster's for Grav/Silence and etc.

EDIT: The title says easy. Just build a skill macro similar to the one above. I wouldn't fork out for Enfeeb torque unless you can afford and are going to push the set to it's maximum. Spider is good and dirt cheap. Igqira gear is generally cheap, some is expensive but head is certainly cheap. Portent is just a brew or two on MNK with a WHM. Also, portent pants would work as a dark/enhancing skill too. And a damn big chunk of skill at that.

If she has an Omega Ring laying around from Einherjar or ampoules going to waste there's that, or augmented Diamond Rings from Vunkerl (A) which can get +MND on them too since you seem to want the best of both worlds on one piece. I believe it's possible to get INT+3 MND+3 on them making it okay for full time nuking and a back up MND ring to go with the Tamas. Everything else in Calipso's set is about what I use. There's a few enfeebling skill shoes from some ZNMs or Goliard Clogs with INT/MND/MACC as well. Incubus Earring +1 could work in place of enfeebling earring and double as a drain/aspir piece with the Goetia Earring since I assume she's not up for a dark skill build as well.

Afaik enfeebling is most effective in tiers, so if something pushes you over a multiple of 10, it's worth getting. Enfeeb torque is pretty cheap on odin, if you can afford a Novio you can prob afford that. Otoh, if it's not breaking a tier, you can just stick with spider torque. For example, if you're sitting at 323 skill, and enfeebling torque will put you at 330, then it's worth it. If however you're at 326 skill and spider torque will put you at 331, that's just as good. Someone please correct me if that's wrong.

Sapentia Sabots from Div-e Sepid are also a good alternative for feet if you don't have trophies or have bad luck with trophies.

As said before, a mnd build isn't all that useful on blm, and you're better off just stacking skill gear.

I've NEVER heard that enfeebling was proven more effective in tiers. Any evidence for that?

It's wrong, there are no tiers. There is a threshold value where macc's (speaking of which, 1 macc == 1 skill) impact on magic hitrate changes, but it's not an all-or-nothing tier and will vary by mob.

That's business that only my boyfriend and I get to know, thanks. :)

Anyway, on topic:
Another good alternative for feet would also be Goliard if she happens to have a pair laying around. Nice stats and Macc to boot. It seems like a pretty standard piece if she didn't have the others. Also, if she doesn't have oracle gloves, Teal Cuffs are a nice free option as well. MND+3 and Macc+5 is nothing to sniff at.

Windower makes the game run worse?
On my old acer aspire one (the first one that came out) I could dualbox "just fine" with 2 chars in 640x480 overlay res and 256x256 background res!
Can set the resolution to whatever you want with windower and then just maximize the window.

As a fairly eccentric space-saver, I simply cannot justify a specialized macc. set. I can count the number of instances in which, planned or unplanned, BLM's enfeebling abilities are particularly useful. An even smaller portion of that list falls under the category of 'not already macc. capped because of atma/cruor or level correction'.

This is entirely made up of things you should already have(baring perhaps a macc,/refresh Moonshade Earring, which is arguably better left for melee jobs to augment). You generally wouldn't carry a Goetia Mantle, but its still storable, which makes it fairly convenient for things like this.

If, at worst, 79 macc. isn't enough to land what you need to, reconsider your strategy.
