Unless I'm mistaking the topic, I prefer subs because dubbed voices are never as good.

It seems that most of you like Subs
I really don't understand it because for me the dubbed versions of Naruto and Bleach are much better than the subbed versions in my opinion. For the most part subs. Japanese VA's tend to a better job conveying certain emotions without sounding completely contrived. Also true on the "cutting stuff out" part.
The only dubs I like better than the subs are FLCL, Eva, Vandread and .hack//sign.
Otherwise, subs only. depends really, Cowboy bebop dbz and samurai champloo are all awesome in english, however bleach and naruto suck balls in english.
I always prefer subs, but I liked FMA/DBZ in dub more than sub. Dubs usually kill the moment with horrible voice acting and..god, I tried to watch stuff in dub because my friend refuses to read... NEVER WATCH CHOBITS IN DUB

The only acceptable dub is Cromartie High School, none else ! Japanese voices sound awful :( ruins the entire thing for me.
I'd prefer not to read my TV. If I wanted to read, I'd have a manga.
That said, some dubs are *** awful, and I'd rather read subs than have my ears bleed. :/ 99.9% of the time I prefer subs.
Every once in a blue moon you'll find a dub that isn't an absolute atrocity, but it usually helps when the voices are done in Japanese, otherwise you get the annoyingly awkward face palm enduing imitation of what can only be explained as a cultural style of speech and expression. Especially when it comes to greetings, formalities and other edequite that pertains to Japan. Dubs usually because I'm never looking at the TV and I can't hear subtitles.
I know call me weird but most of the time I just want to listen to something without watching it. Just saying, you read the subtitles faster as you watch more anime with it. I usually finish reading the subtitles before they go off the screen with just a glance unless it brings up something explaining what they're saying to you. It really grows on you and I like the japanese voices more. Sometimes I can't really feel the emotion that should be expressed in dubs.
As for Naruto subs/dubs, I watch both actually, but prefer Sasuke, Gaara, and Naruto's voices from the jp. I just like to watch it over again with something different. Most of the dub villains sound pretty cool though imo. Thankfully in Shippuden, Naruto doesn't say "Believe it" so much. I can't remember him really saying it at all in the episodes I've watched. Hentai dubs are the worst thing ever created by mankind.
