What's your salvage set up? At 75 when I did salvage on SCH our RDM would mainheal and I'd nuke everything(except for bosses), RDM SCH THF MNK WAR BRD

I agree completely.
I feel kind of the same with SCH, I think SCH should head toward more buffing if RDM heads toward more debuffing. (As a primary focus, not a sole focus)

nuking is a waste of time in salvage for us, waste of mp for curing, and waste of HP I could be SA or TAing for TH

I agree completely.
I feel kind of the same with SCH, I think SCH should head toward more buffing if RDM heads toward more debuffing. (As a primary focus, not a sole focus) I'd actually level SCH if it got geared toward buffing. Thank goodness I got SCH NQ AF3 Feet the other day.

SCH is supposed to be slightly below WHM, able to replace a WHM, but not as good as one, and slightly below BLM, same deal, able to replace, but not as good as one. This is how it worked @ 75 @_@, perfect balance too.
Their deisgn intent according to SE's recent update about SCH is being battle "Strategists" and using stratagems/ja's/arts to enhance their abilities enough to be on par with blm and whm. However they failed SCH by giving its main unique stratagems(accession/manifestation) subbable,so they need to give SCH a new unique awesome stratagem at 95/99(i'd prefer 2 new ones).
They said RDM's design intent is buffer/debuffer, so I don't see SCH becoming a buffer, RDM will become that(not pure buffer obviously).

AOE SS/Phalanx/Regen was beating the hell out of everything.
And cure 4 + rapture would easily do 650 + with weather and stuffs.
Alot more MP conservation too.
SE I MISS THE SCH OF BEFORE ;_;

I highly doubt that seeing as how sch trumps rdm 10x over in all categories regarding nuking dps, including the amount of refresh they're able to obtain through gear and sublimation, increased stratagems, larger nukes with a higher damage/mp ratio, and convert as /rdm

Enlight and Endark are special magic spells for paladin and dark knight respectively and we have no plans to add them to red mage at this time.

In regards to monsters that are completely resistant to certain spells, there is a high possibility that we won’t make any significant changes. However, there aren’t really too many of these monsters, so in regards to adjustments making it possible to land enfeebling magic easier, we feel it would be better for red mage’s to experience this effect on a larger amount of monsters.

Since enhancing magic is an area that red mages excel at, we would like to add something. We have been receiving a lot of ideas for enhancing magic and we will be keeping them in mind when exploring this subject.

We looked into this, however, if we were to add this it wouldn’t be a job trait. The possibility is pretty high that it would be in the form of equipment that a red mage could wear.

Mostly disappointing stuff and wasted questions. I welcome whatever Melee buffs we get (i used to melee a lot on RDM but I'm planning on an Almace for BLU and RDM), but I'm facepalming that SE is denying us Fencer as a job trait. lol@GearWeWillNeverUseOverHaste >_>
It also doesn't say much for the backline crowd. Can't say we're Enfeebling Masters if we're still getting our most powerful enfeebles resisted on HNMs. And can we just get Quick Magic, Elemental Stave-like Swords/Daggers, Regen III and Extremely useful Debuffs already? =\
