Why not add a "Latest (Server) Forum Topics" on the main page, where Server equals the server you currently have selected for FFXIAH. I could see it potentially increasing the usefulness (and relativity) of individual server forums.
You could make it so there is a two tabs on the "Latest Forum Topics" box of the page, one for the local server forums and one for all of them.
Please, I need to recruit people for Salvage, and i'm poor.

That's actually a pretty cool idea. I'll have to see how reasonable it is.
We have some issues at the moment with the way the selected server cookie gets reset from URLs that are linked to... more times than not, you may not end up with "your" server. That may reduce its usefulness if we can't fix that one first. what jaerik just said happens to my friend all the time, but not me....... can anyone explain why
It happens when someone clicks on a link to a transaction or player on another server with a URL specifying the target server cookie. Which some people do a lot, and others not so much.

You're already poking around on a character on that server, it's obvious you have a reason to be interested in the server. Like for instance if you click a character and want to see what they bought, you click the item and you see the price on their server instead of yours. Makes sense to me. |
