Some information about the Tabula Rasa spells was just released today:
Quote:
Brave
Target: Single (Can be made AoE through the use of stratagems)
Effect: Regen + Regain + Haste (Values/duration are under development)
Usage Level: 5~ (Under the effects of Tabula Rasa only)
Skill Type: Enhancing Magic

Merton
Target: Single (Can be made AoE through the use of stratagems)
Effect: Damage + Damage over Time (DoT effect depends on the initial damage)
Usage Level: 5~ (Under the effects of Tabula Rasa only)
Skill Type: Dark Magic
Source

Depending on the potency of these, I will be extremely moist

Also they revealed they had intentions to adjust the potency of light/dark arts to either boost the potency of being used while on SCH main or to nerf the boost given as /SCH. Interesting indeed...

Idk, I hope they are adding more. If I 2hr I wanna use it to do something big, Ultima woulda been nice for Scholar or something cool. I would be also happy if they made Libra detect stats and hp/weakness etc like they said they might make something. That would be really awesome. Brave seems like a zerg spell depending on the regain, which I assume is higher than 1.

Yeah, but it's better than nothing, especially if it lasts a while with perpetuance and has at least a respectable amount of the regain and haste.

40% haste 10tp/tic regain and 100hp/tic regen; baby brew np

But new info job abilities would also be very appealing, could just pop libra II or w/e off at the start and get a hint for all 3 procs simultaneously, could potentially offset sch's limited use for procing to a degree at least.

Merton hopefully has potential as a really good spell too, our Helices are pretty powerful as it is, if this thing gets into 1k+~ damage it could seriously lay the smack down on some stuff, especially since it's considered dark magic and therefore is able to be spread out amongst multiple targets.

Not to mention we can use Modus Veri- aw now I'm sad

This has such great potential too. Haste could break the cap and regen could slowly fill your hp for the whole duration increasing your max hp or something spiffy like drain II does.

/letdown as it's 5%, 5/tick and 5/tick watch lol
Break which cap? If it breaks the delay cap, you're pushing instant death on anything engaged.

Doesn't haste cap at 85%? it would be 5% making you cap at 90 I meant. if I'm wrong then at least now you get my original intention
Couldn't tell you because delay cap is 80%.

You're approaching breaking the sound barrier already at 80% delay reduction

If you have 100% delay reduction, it's infinite attacks per round, basically.

Kaustra (SCH Lv. 5: Tabula Rasa must be in effect)
Consumes 30% of your maximum MP. Deals dark damage to an enemy.
Embrava (SCH Lv. 5: Tabula Rasa must be in effect)
Consumes 30% of your maximum MP. Gradually restores target party member's HP and TP and increases attack speed.

So... Max MP+ set go?

If they have a static effect without any sort of modifier, sure, but even then it would be an extreme burden on inventory to invest in an mp+ set, I'm 76/80 on my sch constantly

Yes potency obviously where you can but that really only applies to Kaustra. But it says 30% of your max MP. So should or shouldn't we assume that it'll be treated like Alexander/Odin where the more MP the summoner has (to a certain level of it), the more effective it is?

Scholar deserves to be at the top for a short time, make these spells overpowered for a month or two.

Being underpowered is always better than being overpowered, being overpowered is really boring and bad for any MMO.

Shouldn't, it doesn't say effect varies with Max MP as Odin/Alexander do. Also until the spell comes out, Embrava could easily vary in potency/duration based on enhancing magic skill
