Guild Points

Alright so my current aim is to get 100 Goldsmithing as soon as possible and I've been leveling quite quickly for the amount of time put in, and have actually been making a mean profit.

My question is, would it be wise to get to Novice and then amass guild posts while doing other things or get guilds points AS I level?

I've read into it a bit and I understand there are different recipes depending on your rank, so even though I'd be getting less points total I would also end up probably spending less per point.

Would be nice to hear some third party opinions. Thanks!

For time's sake: GP as you level.

As you get into higher level synths, they will also require higher level and more sub crafts. If you have most of your crafts already up it would be pretty easy I suppose to level and accumulate GP at the same time.
