Despot Wont Pop

Is there something with pets that despot wont pop? I've tried to farm this nm 3 times just to have someone come by and pop it right away. Even before the augment sky rush i spent 6hr by myself just to have a blm come by and pop on the 1st kill.

I've popped it with my sheep before, its all about luck theres only a small chance it can pop.

When I solo'd it on BST it took me roughly 3 hours of non-stop killing for it to pop

You're just getting ***luck, variance is the statistical term for "luck" whether it's good or bad.

Really think you don't want it to pop.

Pretend to go afk.

Come on a job that can't kill it solo.

Believe in the heart of the cards.

From my experience these are the best ways to get anything to pop.

Oh yeah..that or really leave the zone and it is bound to pop in 10ish min.

It's been a while since I heard a reference to Brigandish Blade: Legend of the Saladbowl.

Don't think about popping Despot. There is no Despot. You're just there to solo some tabs.

What you need to do for it to pop is after every single kill Leave your pet so Despot knows your alone and he'll come out to play

I was up in sky the other day, on my way to Ulli camp and came across not 1, but 2 Bst's wiping to Despot. Both of their pets were gone and they were running for their lives. Naturally I offerred my assistance and all ended well. If you want to go through stats fast, increasing your chances of popping Despot, increase your kill speed and don't go on a pet job. Rdm or Blm ftw. Can do a full page in about 20 minutes. If Despot doesn't pop on 1 page, I go to Zip, Faust, or Ulli. But he's popped at least 50% of the time. I always expect him sometime between the 2nd and 5th stat. If he doesn't pop then, he's likely not to.

That's easy, he leveled BST.
