Blade: Yu

Was just curious because sometimes I tend to fool around with nuking on nin when I'm bored, so I was just curious if yu could do decent dmg if geared correctly. Since with nuking atma's my jins are usually sub-par, but yeah didn't mean for this to turn into a huge trolling thread good god <_<

Well if you're just spamming ninjutsu, you're probably not engaged anyways, so just use Yu for the poison or something? *** if I know. That's honestly the only reason I can bother think about using it.

Let's not forget that Yu looks badass lol... Its a tidal wave of poisonous water.... its cool lol.... Jutsu nuking can do some serious dmg with the AF3 gloves and futae and a good build... There was a tread about it a few months ago... Upbeat had some high numbers with this nukes. My set isn't complete, and I still was doing decent dmg per San even without futae

I have 2 MATK sekka+2's but never really considered Yu.

Am I forgetting anything so far?



Shura have MATK Bonus+5
Demons rings are maxed +3 MATK Bonus+3 with magic Crit+3's
Sekk'a are the MATK path. +20 MATK INT+18
Osode for STR/INT?

I use Blade:Yu for amber lights :3

Byakko's Haidate are probably preferable to Shura and don't require a low-frequency random pool augment. Iga hands, DEX or INT belt, Iga back, Maat's Cap/Iga Zukin +2 or possibly augmented Shura Kabuto, and your choice of Lithe Boots or AF+1.

You've had better results with MAB rings than INT rings for Ninjutsu?

They could be better, I actually have not even tried to use INT rings since I got the demon's rings. I haven't really messed around with my nuke set at all for the past few months, It's been at least a month since I even went in abyssea.

Would a WS belt be a better suit for Yu? And also replacing Artemis for Uggy pendant?

Probably... That set was just stuff I already had on Upbeat. The only reason I went out to mess around with it was because of this thread lol.

I'm sure there is also probably a better back piece for Yu.
