I sync'd down to lvl 25 the other night and fought EP mobs and only had a ~10% guard rate. It really, really, really isn't worth the effort in the least since anything you fight ever will make your guard rate floored.

Also guarding against tp moves doesn't negate damage anymore.

I just wish they would add a 'you guard' msg so we can test the actual rate. Wasn't hard to cap it at all, and some day they might buff it then who will be sorry?

As for being floored, I don't think so. I fight EP monsters all the time. 5% gain in guard rate is good.

I don't really ever get hit by EP mobs =X And I only did a sample of 150 hits taken, took it down on paper. Would have done more, but it gets really tedious.

I rather use a rdm with phalanx 2 than a whm.
