Pup Solo/duo

i have plenty of other jobs where pup isn't the must efficient.
But i'm starting to find places (mostly sky trigs) where pup shoulddd be the best job.
This is probly a total retard question but i see ppl saying about deus robot nuking. That would be amazing but how do you not make it drain like 100%.
I've tried all manner of manouvres in the little time i've had while kiting all i can do is drain.
Is this right am i supposed to use oil on it and kite till its hp is decent?
Any input would be amazing i'm just sucking the *** out of ***job at the min.

Heal it with Repair or Tactical Switch. . .It Will ALWAYS DRAIN after Deus. Whoever told that is a fool... Zombie Deus only really works with DD or whm because whm will cure itself and DD just keep on attacking. PUP isn't a job you pick up and expect to be good... There are different methods on how it should be played and done, but if you aren't 100% dedicated to it, then drop it (especially if you have multiple 75~90 jobs). This is reason many PUPs have a terrible name. Yes we do suck in many things but we also have many strengths, and everyday I do my best to give Pup +1 look!

having 3 ice manouvres might overwrite the drain in zombie mode.

I'm just getting a better understanding of what i can and can't solo,
and that pretty much takes anything with frequent diaga casts (after taking any dmg) for example..out.

Mage has something around 1500, VE can have more than 2k.
I solo a lot of stuff on pup, I actually leveled this job for this very reason. You can tank pretty much anything with the right atmas and Stringing Pummel can do some epic damage.

And what Automaton do you have? My Automaton at lvl 90 with ANY Mage set up JUST breaks 1000... Unless you are doing some heavy Atma's then there is something wrong...

Nah not really, Once again, even with both Mana tanks my Automatons MP JUST tips over 1200... SO how could its HP ever be more than its MP (except with some HP atmas)

Auto Repair Kits raise HP, but then my Auto usually chills around the 1k mark in Soulsoother frame, only use Auto rep kit 1 cos damage gauge/flashbulb/optic fiber are awesome
