Bloodclaw Shasra's Charged Whisker

I've seen some blue mages hit around 3k+ with the spell charged whisker. I'm curious as to what damage the beastmaster's pet Bloodclaw Shasra can do with lightning atmas too. Has anyone tested it out or can someone maybe? I would myself, except that I'm missing the lightning+ atmas. :(

I haven't but if you'd like and know people I'd be interested in fighting karkadan for atma of the blinding horn. Getting the KI's is rather easy. Can solo the elephant on thf and almost can solo the tiger... but the unicorn itself is kinda mean especially with too many people tping on it.

Ps: I'd love the legs too. Oh and the lightning atmas add 30% dmg assuming they work with it. So could just multiple and see what it would do if you had them and they work with it

Charged Whisker is totally lame on BST, even with MAB atmas and Blinding Horn

Some of our spells is stronger than the mobs version of it, but then some of our spells is gimped compared to the mobs.

BLUs can boost Charged Whisker more effectively due to alot of other factors. Blue magic is modified quite a bit different from the Jug pets TP moves from what I've heard. Can't say I have the math to back up that statement though.

Did some tests in Abyssea on decent challenge mandes.
Had cruor buffs and TP was at 300.

No atmas - 280 damage

Hell's guardian and Ultimate (+100MAB) - 560 damage

Razed Ruins (+50DEX) - 280 damage

Minikin Monstrosity (+50INT) - 355 damage

Atma of the Lion (Lightning attack +30%) - 362 damage

Hell's Guardian, Ultimate and Lion - 724 damage

Edit: Atma of the Lion is indeed 30%

Well MAB works as expected and loots like the jug has no base MAB.

Not being dex modded is kinda a suprise... wonder if there is another stat mod. Int isn't as strong a mod as it is for blu but still not bad

Out of curiousity were you using cruor buffs? Were you geared for it at all?

Yeah, I was using cruor buffs and I was geared in my TP gear. The only equipment that could have possibly affected its damage is the Ferine cabasset +2, but I don't believe anyone knows what it still does. But even then, shouldn't matter too much with the percentage since I was wearing it throughout all the tests.

Haven't really read up on it... but what it says it does is kinda clear cut... the amount it might idk but really shouldn't be that hard to test. Not sure if it matters since plantoids are strong against beast and if it works like blu gear/merits can only add can't subtract from the correlation factor.
