Is this just a hokey little addition or does it actually have some practical use? It seems like the food effects from fish are very minimal and short-lived. What good is it? Does the galka fare just as poorly with their raw meat eating ability?
It helps if you're cheap or completely out of food and happen to have fish available. But keep in mind cooked meals will always give greater stat improvements than uncooked meat/fish will ever give.
As for fish i'm not all that familiar, I have no mithra chars. My galka mule liked to chow down on sheep meat as a cheap food alternative while leveling in kons.highlands and farming mary's horn. Not great stats but better than nothing^^
I'm not overthinking this. I just don't like fluff. Give me things that are practical and will legitimately help me with my gameplay. Is that too much to ask?
This is especially true with the NPC fellow. That whole thing is full of major fluff. It is a house of cards in terms of functionality.
Galka can eat raw uncooked meat, and mithra can eat raw uncooked fish. However cooked items will always yield stronger stat benefits than raw items ever will.
i'm not sure about there been a fish but doesn't dragon meat give galka's better stats then dragon steak? think its the only time a raw item is better then cooked thow
I know it's for the sake of settling undiscovered information but I would kill any galka in their sleep that ate raw dragon meat that could have been sold and cooked.
