We had VERY high protein diets and lots of Carbs. MMMMM Pasta. I never have to worry about losing weight because I never gain it. My body burns through calories faster than Katie downs vicodin.

At Ft. Leonard Wood MO Basic Training they served really rich breakfasts and let soldiers eat all they wanted (with the caveat that they must finish everything) so I could see adding pounds especially for male enlisteds. I went through Basic back in 1990, during the first Bush administration. :p Was probably super-laid back compared to what they have new recruits doing now, I'm sure. Plus there was always this double-standard on how they treated women in Basic and AIT over how they treated men (like letting women sit out on anything if they were on their periods, while they made men do grass drills all day long lol...wtf.) But yah, then went to Fort Sam Houston TX for AIT, later, but I always remember them letting people eat anything they wanted. So pray you weren't last in line for your division you were only given a few minutes which were being called off/yelled out.
