Romantically Frustrated?

Speaking of the one that got away.

I am in a relationship and have been with current gf for 2 years or so. Now before we became official and were just seeing each other I was fooling around with some other girls at the same time, one of them was my best girlfriend I had known for years and always wanted more with but never had the chance do to our bad timings.

It was going really well for a while and I thought maybe we'd become official, but then she got scared or listened to her friends not wanting to get with me (cause I am older) and it just completely fell apart. We drifted apart a bit after that and only talked occasionally and I began an official relationship with the other girl I was seeing at that time cause it was going really well.

Now 2 years later, I am in the same relationship with said girl, and my previous best girlfriend texts me again just a few weeks after she said for me to never talk to her again unless it's an emergency or something (because I broke plans to see her when she visited my area cause my gf is super jealous of her cause she knows we slept together during the time I was seeing her also).

She tells me this. She was sorry for what she said before, she says she knows she messed up all those years ago and maybe missed her chance to be with me and truly be happy, because she can't see herself being happy with anyone else, and if she does see someone else she'll just be settling. She then proceeds to ask how happy I am in my relationship and if I see it lasting for a long time, because she will wait if I think it's going no where.

This has all happened in the last few days. She tells me to just say the word and she will pick me up and take me away lol. She has a very comfortable government job (DoD) and tells me I wouldn't have to worry about anything. I love my gf very much and am happy with her with no complaints, but this girl I've known for a long time and have had feelings for since before I even knew my gf.

Any idea's, opinion's, haiku's? =p

don't risk something that works and makes you happy over something that went bad before. girls always want you more when you're with someone else.

I'd do it all over again even if it all came crashing down to feel what I had many years ago.

Ultimately it's up to you. Just remember just because you both are passionate about each other doesn't necessarily mean you'll be a good match. But there's also the chance you're a better match. If you're really happy with your current girlfriend, honestly I'd just stay with her. If you leave her not only will you break her heart, you'll never be able to go back.

I was in a relationship with a woman last year and she was beautiful, hot, intelligent, chaste etc but I didn't REALLY like being with her, she was kind of annoying, so I split up with her.

Come this year I meet a girl in my lectures at Uni and she's allright looking, had a great body then, but she's dumb and a ***.. but she was so fun to be with and funny (mostly because she's dumb) and I really fell for her but she didn't like me like that for whatever reason.

So I found myself in this crazy paradox where I could be with one of the highest quality girls God has ever made but I didn't want her and I couldn't be with someone that I would normally consider too low quality for myself but found myself wanting to spend all my time with...

Now I'm going out with someone that is all of the positives above, she's stunning, intelligent, fun, chaste, loving and caring, but when I go to lectures my heart still yearns for this average girl because she's so fun and funny... oh the mysteries of love

same thing happened to me with my last gf i liked her coz she was dumb but she had no personality she was just fit, yet my heart yerns for a friends lil sister even tho shes a *** but shes funny but shes rubbish in bed despite being a ***, god has a sense of humor

Serious question - What would the term for a man-*** be, or is it just that? I mean sure the better way to go about it is to call no one a *** or *** but that just isn't how gen pop categorizes it. It's just ingrained on a lot of us that a man with loose morals and loose pants is a "pimp" while the ladies get the short end of the stick with *** or *** (I think because "pimpette" is just too many letters and me dumb male me no like big word).
