Romantically Frustrated?

Oh, I'm well aware of the notion of compromise, its just a lot of other things lol.... Oh well. Atm I just don't find myself as "worth while" enough I guess... *shrug* Lack of confidence all my life tends to do that to a guy.

i hear that...my main problem is lack of effort..all my attention goes to work,helping my mom, and video games

does it to chicks too trust me...I had the worst luck with men for the longest damned time...ugh...but then I met my husband and, even though he's a total ***, he's treated me better then any other man in my life (including parental figures) so I guess I really shouldn't complain about him...but seriously...he's a total *** sometimes! (he knows this too, I swear he flaunts it sometimes)

Anyway, just you wait and see, someone will come along and knock your socks off, and it'll probably happen in a grocery store...

Well Nova, i find it TORTURE that I happen to work with a lot of cute ladies lol. Servers for restaurants tend to be young gals and most of the ones I work with are cute lol.....sh** sucks lol

lol, I feel ya...I was a secretary for a construction company for a while...and most of the guys were close to my age and incredibly good looking but I never had the guts to talk to any of them. I actually ended up quitting that job because I embarrassed myself so horribly...I was bringing the guys coffee and the hottest guy in the whole group called me "baby" I got all red in the face and flustered and what not and dropped the coffee on myself...I was wearing a white silk blouse and a white silk bra...not good when wet...not good at all...

That's a tough question Nova...and very hard to answer, not really knowing your man's personality (or the full extent of yours, to be honest).

oh well. no big deal...I mean yeah I can be kinda clingy sometimes but that's usually when I haven't had any adult human interaction in quite a while.

I just want him to want to, I dunno, go see a movie or go to dinner or something like once a month, hell it could be once every couple of months for all I care...I'm sure I'll figure something out eventually.

Is it bad for me to demand that our 10yr wedding anniversary be JUST US, no kids, no friends, no family??

to expand on that last question...every anniversary we've had multiple people at the house (we've never gone anywhere) and it's just not a very personal experience, more like having a party with no drinking, no games, no...nothing really then having an anniversary.

yeah, we have NEVER had an alone anniversary, we weren't even alone on our wedding night.

I haven't actually made the demand yet, we still have 2 yrs til the 10th one happens but I'm making surprise plans...Our debts and stuff should be paid off by Feb 2012 so I'm gonna syphon off a bunch of our tax returns for a second honeymoon fund...I wanna go to Jamaica (and I know he does too) I've never been overseas before and he's alwayts talking about the weed in jamaica so I think it could be a win/win lol

yeah well, you and I know that but apparently he and his friends do not. >.< I mean, by the time we got married we were already living together and had a 10month old daughter so it wasn't like we hadn't already been alone far too often but still...we ended up roaming around vegas until 4am and when we did go back to our hotel his friend passed out in our bed and he passed out in the chair...I ended up sleeping on the floor...was still a great weekend but that particular part made me quite angry lol

i idealize my partner and the relationship.
i'm spiteful.
i'm extremely jealous ._.
i keep things that are bothering me to myself in hopes that my partner will be psychic and change whatever they're doing wrong magically.
sometimes it's hard for me to find ways to show love other than by sexual means.
even when the relationship is horrible i convince those around me that it's perfectly fine.
I'm very depressive in a relationship, partly to be spiteful and make my partner feel bad for whatever they're doing to make me depressed.
I'm attracted to other emotionally and psychologically damaged men.

the list goes on. i might have an attachment disorder, though some of the symptoms completely conflict my tendencies, or are much more radical than my own. i refuse to go to therapy because: 1-i don't want my family and friends worrying, 2-i feel the need to be completely self-sufficient and find out what's wrong with me on my own.

EDIT: But this ONLY applies to relationships. i have completely different tendencies in normal social interactions. some of these are present, but only to a very slight extent.
