Not sure what they got "banned" for over 10 years ago, but I do know they had a lawsuit BS over a "lewdness" fine they got back in New York years ago for performing simulated sodomy during their song Bück Dich. Also I do recall someone getting hurt from their pyrotechnic antics. However, bans can be lifted and waived over time; but as far as I could tell there were no pulled punches from how their shows typically are, regardless of being back in the states.

Hm some of their songs/part of their shows got banned even in germany >.> and we are hmm a little more relaxed about stuff like that than the states i think.

Only watched them live once, quite some time ago on a festival. Was pretty epic! I love live shows, but i hate crowds of people ><

They aren't exactly my taste. I used to listen to them before American Football games to get pumped up to tackle people XD. That was before I learned any German. Now my taste are much different so they aren't my style :/ But as it goes most bands are good live but they do have a rep for being amazing live.

I think after dealing with barf in my shoe from that conniving feline I own, I can deal with it. I hate my cat and love him. He's a curse to my conscience.

EDIT: I don't know how many times I've cleaned up cat barf throughout my house! I remind him everyday that if that lab I wanted hadn't been adopted he would still be at the rescue center.

I almost never have problems with my pup going to the bathroom on the floor. She caught on really quick, just a few weeks after we started potty training her. She's never gone on our bed or couch or anything else, either. But she does tend to get sick, and she'll barf on whatever she's on at the moment. The bed, the carpet, her kennel, me. I feel so bad for her when she gets the pukes that I can't even be mad at her. My poor baby!

When I was growing up we had cats though, and they were awful about where they went to the bathroom when they were angry about something. Newly upholstered chair? Cat pee! Faux mink blanket on my bed? Cat pee! Got kicked off the computer stand? Cat pee in stepmother's printer! Erk. Then to make it even worse, my stepmother was convinced that the only thing that could get the cat pee smell out of cloth was vinegar, so we had chairs and couches and blankets that reeked of vinegar, and I could never get the vinegar smell out. ><

Would be cool if we could domesticate foxes. They're cute and fuzzy like cats, but hyper and active like dogs; not to mention mischievous. Though they'll probably end up eating all your cookies.

Fennec Foxes if hand-reared are mostly domesticated. They're at least tame and super friendly, and get along with any animal they can't eat (they're smaller than a cat).

Cats and Dogs are polarities for separate personalities. Also a good chunk of it depends on how much time you really have to their maintenance. Cats are rather independent and chill and can take a dump on their own and for the most part need minimal grooming or feeding schedules. Dogs require a bit more attention and focus on things like that, but will forever be loyal and obedient (for the most part) On a side note, I haven't posted here in awhile. I think I've been so jaded and discouraged from even attempting to apply myself to the opposite sex that I'm content with being single for the past 3+ years. Not sure if this is a good or bad thing.
My most recent ex (only 3 total)girlfriend would drop the guy she's seeing now if i said i would go out with her again (with the intention of eventually marrying). She's still crazy about me and she's been a good friend, but that's all it's ever going to be. I appreciate my singluarity, i get to do what i want and when i want... there are little things i miss though. Not to mention on the 3 dating sites i've been on... just... no. (for the most part) And as for kitteh's... "In Egypt Cats were worshiped as gods. They havent forgotten this." time to go home and log on ffxi.
I tend to dislike people who would drop their current partner for another, even an old flame. :-( I hope your ex wouldn't really, but if she's said she would then it's probably true. It just seems so unfair to her current partner. Why not wait until she's over you to move on to someone new? It would be easier and more fair on them both, I think. I'm probably just old-fashioned, but if I'm with a guy, I want him to know that he's who I want to be with. He's not a runner-up or second choice, I'm not 'settling' for him. He's who I want if I'm with him. Maybe I'm odd though, I know a lot of my girl friends who are in a relationship still get aroused by other men. I just don't. I might think a guy is attractive, but I've never wanted to sleep with one besides my husband.

When i am in a relationship with a woman, i think that my mind makes her exponentially more beautiful, and other women exponentially less beautiful. I just become uninterested in anyone else. I do like that quality about myself.

However, there is a stigma attached in my mind to someone who would leave someone else for me. What is to stop them from doing that to me later?

Liela i think we're both old fashioned in that respect. And if that is old fashioned, i wouldnt change it for anything.

My roommates who are engaged to each other were arguing last night... and they are bout about 11 years younger than me or so... but i couldnt help but thinking "mom and dad are fighting again."

Which is funny, cause the girl roommate i have (who i'm practically an older brother to) told me later that she almost said "We shouldnt fight around the children."

I think if someone is going to leave someone else, it should be done for that person, not anyone else. But again... maybe this is crotchety old man speakings... you all just dont mind me and go back to listenin to your rap music with your hippin and a hoppin and a bippin and a boppin...

I think a big issue with relationships isn't that people want to find someone they love, but feel like they can't be alone. People grow up in a family, move on to a larger group organization called 'school'. They may take on a job with another group of people while in school. Some leave high school to live in a close-knit dorm in college. A lot of people in college are trying to get their Mr or Mrs degrees so that they never have to live alone.

I think the type of person who uses their significant others as stepping stones until they find the one they really 'love' are just scared to be alone.

You make it sound so simple liela, "why not wait until her heart is finally over you then move on?" like everyone knows their heart and desires clearly. When the truth is so few of us figure out life and love so fully at all, nevermind at a young age.

Imagine you were with that guy, the guy you loved completely and felt that strongly about. Then it didn't work out neutrally and you broke up. What happens if you aren't strong enough to stay single and miss the feeling of warmth when you sleep so much that you rebound to another guy knowingly?

In that situation the woman knows she still loves the first guy, she knows she wants him back but still rebounds to be able to survive for now. I can't blame most people for behaving like that no matter how it makes me feel

Hm, that's true I suppose. I've never been in a situation where I've broken up with someone I felt that deeply about, so I didn't consider that.

I do have a problem with rebound relationships, mostly because my dad married on a rebound and consequently made the next 20+ years of his life miserable.

Plus the guilt-- ugh. Like for example if I was dating Spence but was in love with Sevourn, I would feel so awful for lying to Spence (or at least feeling like I was lying to him) that I just don't think I could maintain a relationship like that. (Just examples, of course, Spence and Sevourn are both just friends.)

But yeah. I've truly never been in such a situation, so it's hard to say what it would feel like or be like.

Yeah that's true the guilt would drive me insane as well. Especially if Spence wanted more and I was still in love with Sevourn I would consider that extremely selfish personally. And it's so easy to hurt Spence like that if I think I've moved on when haven't.

I feel the same, it's terribly dangerous and if I have any friends believing they need that kindof thing I try and help them see how careful they need to be so it doesn't just cause more pain for them or others. The cycle will never end if that behavior isn't cautious Plus we could all wonder at some point about most relationships "was I just a rebound" and feel like crap if you cared about them deeply
This reminds me of my ex. Your whole discussion this page about rebounds. She straight up told me that if she and I did not work out, that she was going to go back to her ex, because while she finds him abhorrent, he's completely devoted. That way she wouldn't have to be alone. Though sometimes I wonder if all the statements of disgust she made about him, sometimes during moments of intimacy, were really just good thoughts about him, and that she was trying to make me feel like I wasn't 2nd place. Relationships sure are interesting.

And yes, relationships are interesting. The varied benefits are nice, but for now being single and getting to do what i want when i am not at work is really nice.
