Cats and Dogs are polarities for separate personalities.
Also a good chunk of it depends on how much time you really have to their maintenance.
Cats are rather independent and chill and can take a dump on their own and for the most part need minimal grooming or feeding schedules.
Dogs require a bit more attention and focus on things like that, but will forever be loyal and obedient (for the most part)

On a side note, I haven't posted here in awhile.
I think I've been so jaded and discouraged from even attempting to apply myself to the opposite sex that I'm content with being single for the past 3+ years.
Not sure if this is a good or bad thing.

I like kittens, but they are so snotty when they grow up that I tend to dislike them when they are grown and only like them when they are babies. :-( Although I bet if I raised one, I'd get attached to it and love it just as much as an adult.

Can't tell the difference anymore would be a better way of putting it.

My most recent ex (only 3 total)girlfriend would drop the guy she's seeing now if i said i would go out with her again (with the intention of eventually marrying). She's still crazy about me and she's been a good friend, but that's all it's ever going to be.

I appreciate my singluarity, i get to do what i want and when i want... there are little things i miss though. Not to mention on the 3 dating sites i've been on... just... no. (for the most part)

Would be cool if we could domesticate foxes. They're cute and fuzzy like cats, but hyper and active like dogs; not to mention mischievous. Though they'll probably end up eating all your cookies.

I tend to dislike people who would drop their current partner for another, even an old flame. :-( I hope your ex wouldn't really, but if she's said she would then it's probably true. It just seems so unfair to her current partner. Why not wait until she's over you to move on to someone new? It would be easier and more fair on them both, I think. I'm probably just old-fashioned, but if I'm with a guy, I want him to know that he's who I want to be with. He's not a runner-up or second choice, I'm not 'settling' for him. He's who I want if I'm with him.

Maybe I'm odd though, I know a lot of my girl friends who are in a relationship still get aroused by other men. I just don't. I might think a guy is attractive, but I've never wanted to sleep with one besides my husband.

Mh my cat is a bit like a dog actually >.> dunno what i did wrong with him..
He follows me everywhere.
When i go have a shower, he will be sitting on the toilet seat or chilling in the sink. He will be waiting at the door when i come home and make funny noises and run around me till i pick him up. Most of the time when i'm doing stuff on the computer he's sitting on my shoulder or sleeping on my lap. Oh and every morning when i wake up hes sleeping next to my head on my pillow :3
