I had a Haunter and a Farfetch'd in my party at one point and I still couldn't do them... It makes no sense.

which battle background do you guys use? My fav is stickers, though eevee is a close second! :D

Super training is available at the start as far as I know(or as far as I found out like 15 hours in to the game). You don't need any progress in the story to unlock the new modes, just get a medal in each training session on a pokemon and you'll unlock the higher tiers.

Not to sure if it does need to be one pokemon for all 6 training things or if you can clear them each with whatever pokemon you want.

I really liked the ev trainer's in join avenue but super training is pretty damn amazing compared to them. The total ev gains per attempt may be lower, but you have no limit to how many you can do. You could completely max ev's in a single day if you were really bored enough. Training sessions take 30 seconds to complete, training bags take about the same time depending on their size. It's a pretty awesome system.

Good to know ditto is actually in the game, need to catch a bunch with proper natures and crap.
Really wish X and Y had a normal screen capture feature like animal crossing. Those photo spots are cool and all but nowhere near a replacement.

Had never actually used the flist thing on 3ds but it looks like the other person has to verify the request as well.

Tried GTS for the first time in XY, and it is surprisingly not filled with ridiculous requests. Only a few people wanting to trade Fennekin's for the version mascots and mewtwo's, most just wanting other starters or plain normal pokemon.
Not sure how long that will last but that's kind of awesome compared to gen4/5 gts.

Okay, so, sometimes there will be these stone pillars behind enemy pokemon in cave battles. If you use a multiple target attack (I've only used Surf, but I'm assuming other attacks might have different effects), it breaks the pillar. Then you get the message (when I broke it with surf)

"*Your name* found a Damp Rock in the aftermath!"

i just caught a wobbufet.... thats wearing lipstick.. wth

Same happens when you see a berry tree behind the enemy Pokemon you get a random berry from it.

As for other "hidden" things rock smashing also yields Fossils, evolution stones, and random or items. Rock Smashing the rocks near the fossil lab town yields Old Ambers apparently.

I found an npc whos dialogue went something like this:

"Hey you should really check out where I'm from! we have this really cool.... Well, nevermind, you will see it soon enough..."


Think this might be a foreshadowing to going to a different region?

There's a lot of speculation about another Region. There's an item obtained from talking to an NPC 4 days in a row that is said to be a protector of another region and another NPC tells you not to sell it

I am really hating the Super Training mode, especially the Sp.Atk. one :/

It's basically the horrible controls of that Kid Icarus game lol but hey it's worth it.

If I wanted to do it old school, where would I go for Sp Atk? :<

I love Wonder Trade. Is so fun getting Pokemon from all corners of the world. :x

As far as Fairy-Tpye attacks go there's only 1 physical attack. The rest are special attack. So Dedenne is looking pretty amazing being as how it has great Special Attack, Speed, and takes half damage from 5 types which is ridiculous. And of course since it's part fairy immune to Dragon type. Also it's frigging ADORABLE.

Still messing around with Swirlix though he's getting up there.

Also all the fossil pokemon fossils are found in Glittering Cave. Happy hunting :)

Also the baby comes in the ball the mother was caught in. If you caught the female in an ultra ball the baby is given to you with an ultra ball

Yup. Gonna try and catch a Ditto in a Luxury Ball so I can have my team be in fancy Pokeballs!
