EPSXE + PEC + FFVIII / IX
First things, I have these games maxed on PS2 but my PS2 is broken. I want to start new games on EPSXE (I already have) But id like to see what its like to start with 99 of every item and key item, sorta like a FF version of New Game+. PEC is a PSX Emu Gameshark tool and it works great. My problem is the item codes never work, and its getting frustrating! Anyone have any ideas on how to get the item codes to work? Also I tried a memory card editor for this also with Save Games described how I want. But I've tried 4 diffrent programs and none of them will save in the EPSXE memory card format, they all only save in .msc or some ***. For EPSXE to read the card I need .mcr
you need to define some of your variables before i can give you an answer
with the equation set up as it is, any of the variables could equal anything :( O.o; Basically i'm just trying to get FFVIII and FFIX (US Versions) US Gameshark codes to work and give me every item with PEC and EPSXE. Dunno how else to explain it lol.

.............................. OMFG..... Literally... So ok. I downloaded the Memory Card saves from GamFaqs... I TRIED EVERYTHING to convert the FF9 .GME or .GMC whatever the extension was and the game would never read em... So I gave up and just renamed the whole save to epsxe001.mcr and IT *** WORKED! So simple.. just rename the file extension hahaha. /kills self

Just to see how it is to start 9 with Ultimate weapons. I just wanna play through fast for the story and not have to go slow as *** exping my way through.
Thats the great thing about 8 you need 0 exp as mobs level based on your exp so technically you could beat the game as level 1 altho pretty much impossible due to exp gain from the unavoidable fights

It's just you. I played it recently.
It looked a bit more pixely to me the last time I played it :/ Oh well.
ff9 is fairly pretty as far as psx goes yea I'm always suprised when I go back to it every so often

Atty could you do a screenshot of your graphics config for me please, every time I try to set it up to look like your I get horrendous slowdown, or the game goes far too fast. Have you run into this problem at all?
But yeh a screenshot of your settings would be cool bro. Yeah let me save my game. You cant view or edit GFX settings while you play. Also the settings vary according to the game. Like if you chance certain ones the battles will load SLOOOOOW. It also depends on your card and the plugins you use.

I just remembered it worked fine and the problem was I can't record with Fraps without the frame rate slowing down :( |
