Eradico Vs AF3+1/2

I cant get a solid answer....and im not the best at BLM....so from BLM extraordinaire.....which are better?

af3+2 hands if u got full af3+2 set incase of proc

AF3+1 beat Eradico afaik

AF3+2 > Af3+1 > Eradico Mitts. I don't know why it's such a hard decision.

AF3+2 destroy eradico, so that's not even a contest...

As for AF3+1 vs. Eradico:

You get +5 int and magic crit rate +3% while losing 1 MAB.

I'd say *** eradico and use the +1s...they both have the increases crit damage, so i'm going to assume its the same.


And @pewpew. That comment you made doesn't belong. He asked blms, not people who make stupid statements and don't even back them up. Why in god's name would you only wear the +2 for the set bonus proc? The +2 have WAY better stats than eradico...unless they have some hidden effect i'm not aware of.

Based on wiki,
Eradico crit damage increase is +5 mab to the normal crit base.
Goetia +1 is +3 mab to the normal crit base.
So inside abyssea, i guess that eradico could beat goetia in critical magic situations, which are less, so i'd stick with goetia.
Outside abyssea and under magic critical situations, depending on your stats goetia+1 can be superior, when you have too much mab the ratio insn't 2mab = 1 int, in my case at least the 5 int beat the 3 mab by a bit.
Outside critical magic goetia+1 win always.

I have both and just stick with goetia +1 personally, with +2 there is no doubt of what to use

The simplest answer is AF3+2 are the best of the three, but using AF3+2, AF3+1, or Eradico Mitts are all top-end choices currently. Any of the three is a good choice.

Don't forget RDM can use Eradico Mitts.

Between Goetia+1 and Eradico, I'd say it depends mostly on what you are fighting. As for Goetia+2, there is no doubt that it will outperform Eradico mitts. The stats are better and the set bonus is an excellent plus.

Once you upgrade to Goetia gloves+2, keep in mind that Eradico mitts are still very good nuking gloves for the other jobs that can use them.
