Large Group Of RMT/BOTS/???

Has anyone seen a large group of level 1 RSE equipped people running around in packs? Some of them were in bronze harnesses, some were naked, etc.

My friend Sandolphon and I were going to Norg to start the Leviathan quest when we ran into about 12 people in level 1 RSE with Great-axes on, so we decided to follow them because of how suspicious they were. They all got on Chocobos from Kazham and we followed them all the way to Sea Serpent Grotto, where they all ran through to Norg without getting any aggro (they were all /anon so we didn't know what level they were, but they all had starter RSE on and great-axes). Once all 12 of them were in Norg, they went to the Samurai quest NPC and then Instant warped. We /tell'd them asking what they were doing and they responded in auto-translate: "Samurai Quest"

An LSmate saw them today too, in Norg again, and he said he was going to report them if they didn't tell him what they were doing. And supposedly (I say supposedly here because I don't believe him) they gave him "20mil" to keep him mouth shut.

Just weirdness. Anyone else seen this?

They are RMTs. They use mass connected packet bots to play 6+ characters with 1 controller. They are just leveling 1 job to 90 and unlocking all SJs so the character is worth more to sell for IRL currency. Gil is a dead sell system mostly so now they just sell characters.

As an edit why ***? Its just more lv 90 WHM alts we can buy for rice on the dollar to dual box. Why report them.

It's obviously a plot to create an alliance of Masamune RMT bots so they can dominiate Abyssea. Meanwhile, the alliance of BLM RMT bots are currently gold box farming in Abyssea-Tah on canyon scorpions, but they were kind enough to move so I could eat death scissors from Hedetet.

And despite all this, I don't care, b/c Bomb's RMT set is STILL more decked out than the rest of Asurans that buy from them.

This is their new ploy.. They give you a lot of money so if you, or anyone else reports them and they get banned, you will as well.. The GMs will check out the RMT's transactions/trades and see that he gave you a large sum of money and assume you bought it.

I call BS, if this was "real" They would check the chatlogs and see it's blackmail

It was a joke.. Also that's not blackmail.. Blackmail would be if you told the RMT "give me money or I'm snitching".. That's more of a bribe.
