Brew doesn't affect your pets, but works incredibly well with Primal Rend dealing about 15k to Rani with atmas, and 30k to other lesser NMs like Dragua and Bennu.

Only magical weaponskills I can think of that BST could use are Cloudsplitter and Primal Rend, off the top of my head. I haven't heard of a BST brewing anything.

Meh you can always just go /thf and get TH atma. I do that with rng... granted I can do alot bigger kill spells and lots of blue procs

Not necessarily a BST only question, but for any of the main elemental WS you use when you brew... Cata, AE, etc... Would you want to use Smiting Blow over a 3rd MAB atma? So it would look like... Elemenal Atk(Cosmos/Gales/Etc)/Ultimate/Smiting Blow?

Smiting Blow is a waste of a slot with Primal Rend, (4/4.25/4.75 fTP)

Cosmos isn't worth using, because Primal Rend is light based (hence Beyond). Holy mountain is likely better than Howling Moon though.

Holy Mountain/Beyond/Ultimate would probably be best, unless you've killed PW.

Er forgot it was light... smiting blow would still beat ultimate on brew though. 50 MAB when you are already rocking at least 930 is only 4.8% dmg. Worst case scenario smiting blow would be 5.9% Best case 11

+MAB sucks with brew. If there is anything else you can do that actually adds dmg it will probably be more. So +element att, tp bonus on the ws modded by tp, griffon claw on ranged ws or 2hd ws.

Maybe the obi ones if you don't have obi but can /sch for some weather or get day proc

I tested Holy Mountain and Beyond, they do NOT stack, Beyond takes prio.

I'd like to see your numbers/testing on that since the other +element attack ones do in fact stack

Tested Ultimate/Beyond/Holy Mountain V Ultimate/Beyond/Baying Moon V Ultimate/Beyond/Sea Daughter. All on the same NMs in the same session in Vunkerl, U/B/HM did exactly the same as U/B/SD, while U/B/BM did more than the other two combos. Don't remember the exact numbers but it was something like 1016 for U/B/HM U/B/SD and 1236 for U/B/BM. TP/Weapon was the same everytime.
Was a while ago and pretty sure I didn't take screenshots of it.

Could be a glitched atma though, who knows.

It was never Darks/Lightsday when I was fiddling with it though. And no SCH or anything that would effect it.

Well testing on nms is kinda the worst way to test lol. I don't have holy mountain yet but I'd reccomened doing a real test on something you can /check so you can be pretty sure it's stats aren't changing. Not to mention that pretty much every nm I've run accross in abyssea seems to have some sort of -magic or -magical ws dmg thing on it that seems somewhat variable. Like I've had the same ws do different amounts even when I sekka'd them and it wasn't so different as to be a resist. And it wasn't one that dmg was modified by tp

And of course /sam to be sure your tp is exactly the same.

Damage was halfed on the NMs I was doing, either way if HM added damage it would of done more, halfed or not.
Took off my DA gear and counted out hits exactly, was single wielding also, so Fencer was active. (Temperance/Muse Tariquh) Not using stones.
Edit: Also, aren't NM's levels static? Was Varney and Khalkotaur or w/e his face is in Vunk.

I still wouldn't trust nm testing. Like I said the amount of resistance seems to vary in my experience. Not to mention stats. Trash mobs should be used for real testing.

Also nm lvl isn't always static nor are it's stats even if it is the same lvl. Try nuking any nm and watch your dmg vary on the same nm in the same gear. Then nuke a group of mobs and get the exact same dmg every time

Can try a bit, but I remember on flies I never got consistant numbers (La Theine), likely down to the stupid depop thing messing up my mob levels.

I like doing mandies in mis myself since they are particular unresistant to magic (land the -int move on them as /blu lol) and people rarely do anything to them and close to flux and rather harmless. Just make sure to do /checks to make sure. Or have someone sleep it while you come back lol

Necro bump blah blah etc but:

Atma of the Holy Mountain Resist Vs. Light Resist+: Superior Light LightAccuracy1+: Major Gain full benefit of Lightsday/light weather bonuses

Light MAB is wrong, in JP client it shows light Macc. Explains the lack of stacking (or apparent stacking).

I've been working on Cloudsplitter a bit and so far people have suggested Blinding Horn, Atma of the Lion and Ultimate.

Is there anything you think which could top that?
