I really doubt there are 300 million fans.. Hell a show is doing absolutely phenomenal to hold 30 million viewers.
At it's peak, American Idol gets about 30 million viewers a week. 5-10 million viewers is still pretty good.

this would be amazing... but at the same time the pilot (can't remember his name) was one of my favorite characters... and if you saw the movie you'd know he wouldn't be in any new shows >.>;

Wash! that's it I haven't watched the series, because I know I'll love it, because I know I love Serenity (I've watched it over a 100 times by now and I'm still not tired of it) and I know I'll want more, but there is no more (at least yet). So I have to ask, is there any reason why Serenity -has- to be in between season 1 and season 2?
If they actually start making new episodes, I'll start watching the actual series, but unless new episodes come out, I'm afraid I'll just have to avoid watching it.

That's assuming even the entire original cast would come back.
I'm sure there's some way around having Serenity not interrupt the continuity of seasons 1 and 2, while keeping all the same actors besides just going "Oh the movie? that was just a dream or some ***, it never happened.".

Every time I watch Serenity I think to myself that I wish there was a way to erase the memory of ever having watched it just so I could experience it as new, all over again. Leave the fact that I know I love it completely intact, but just like erase the memory of everything that happens.

i saw the movie first and when they killed off the pilot all i could think is sucks to be him. but after i watched the shows and watched the movie again~ i was like how the hell can you kill him gdi!?!??!
