Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?
Most people only drink to get drunk.. its not about what they are drinking. I enjoy the taste of some drinks myself but being around everyone who is wasted is kinda lame. That and my dad is drunk everyday by 12pm so its not that appealing to me.

I don't have bad experiences. I've only been really drunk 3 times but I'm an extremely happy drunk. I get super friendly, I love everyone.
I absolutely loathe Ovr's stepdad, but the last time I got drunk, Ovr's cousins were over with their kids and they had a slip n slide. I ran up to his step dad, gave him a huge hug and demanded he go on the slip and slide with us. The next day, he was trying to be my bff and I just wanted him to die.

I have trouble seeing the good in getting drunk, but that's probably because of my mother.
It's probably why I haven't even had a drink in my life and never plan to, probably trying to be different than her or w/e. I just get angry at the thought of it personally.

With Ovr's mom and step dad being severe alcoholics, I was surprised to see Ovr drink at all. We rarely drink, but I think he really drinks to show himself he can have a bit of fun and stop himself if he wants to, that he's not a piece of ***drunk like they are.

Drinking has different motivations for different people. Some just use it to numb themselves, to help them cope with daily life. Some just like the loss of inhibitions. Some just like the taste of beer. For me, I only drink with friends, and very rarely to excess - it's a relaxant, to let you feel a little silly for a while, and then come back down to earth. Like most things that can really affect people, alcohol is all about how and when you use it. I wouldn't fault anyone for never touching the stuff, but used responsibly, it's an extra vector for amusement.

My uncle is an alcoholic but thankfully my dad isn't, nor his other brother. I don't drink at all and at most I've had a glass or so. Just not appealing to me.
