I'm always so sad when I catch up with a show and I have to wait a whole week to see a 30-45 min session of it when I would spend hours at a time spamming the episodes before ; ;
see, this is why I can't watch stuff like Bleach or Naruto, even though I'm getting back into Inu Yasha. Simply put:
To be fair, bleach, naruto, one piece, etc, are just 24 min shows once a week. That isn't any different than any NA TV show except we have seasons and go on breaks while anime like those basically go on all year long.
It's much easier to keep up with a show than it is to catch up. I personally enjoy the mini-marathons of catching up with a show rather than waiting a week for another 24 minutes.
I suppose in that perspective it works for the better, but for someone to be able to jump on to it and get kept up, that's where I see the issues. It might also have to do with how anal I am with it too. Mini-marathons should happen more often, and the closest I'm getting right now is InuYasha every Saturday night at 5 & 5:30, heh.
As for the DmC game, I was playing the demo, and I saw the dialogue between Dante and the Secret Ingredient and at the very moment I saw them exchanging pot shots, I'm sitting there going, "... Did that really just happen?" It made me feel really...awkward.
I thought they did the combat pretty okay, but having to hold down the shoulder buttons (or bumpers, whatever) to change weapons made the combat a little stiffer for me. And after seeing an 11-minute summary of the game, yeah, I'm personally not missing too much.
