it ia called dragging.
you click on an icon and move it to where you would like it and then release the click

make sure you have auto arrange off, and Align to Grid on

Pretty sure there's more to it than that, the icons are very very small compared to what I can achieve and don't require naming.

I wouldn't recommend rocket dock... Runs so many unnecessary background processes. D:

Hmm yeh I'm looking at object dock, IT'S SO NEAT AND TIDY, I'm not running any programs that need full power anyway, might install it :3

I played about with them all awhile ago when I was trying to adjust to using PC for work over a mac, none of them were really that special and I just decided to get used to Windows instead.

Ugh, work sucked today only for the reason that I got so many people that didn't have an inkling of intuitive thought process that would enable them to interact correctly with the self-scan machines.
The kind of people that sit on the scales, try inserting their money in the receipt printer, or slam their fist against the screen and wonder why it doesn't work.

Me: You have to use the arrow point to click, not the tail.

It gets worse from there and I won't tell you how much these people get paid because it will literally make you sick. Hint: It's more than 15$/hr.

It's quite an underappreciated genre in general. I'd say it takes a lot more talent to put EDM music together than it does to sing and have an autotuner make you sound good, yet that's the kind of music everyone goes batshit over.

I used to be in a band with "real instruments" and other people, but now I make EDM music by myself. It's a lot of fun and allows for a lot more creativity. It's also fairly simple to send tracks/sounds to other people and work together with them on something, so it's not all an individual lonely kinda thing.

People who say "lol ur just sitting at ur computer making sounds" really don't understand all the fine-tuning that goes into making sounds from scratch when there's a million different things to adjust to get the sound you want.

Sure, some EDM sucks... but there's also some "real music" with "real instruments" that's beyond terrible.

I don't care for most of the music that's on the radio anymore for this reason (among other things). Because of of them girls clearly *** seduced the hell out of a producer to get that deal. ***, if it's that easy, then maybe I should try. I think I have a nice natural singing voice. [/horntoot]

The Mars Volta are all virtuosos lol, the ***they release is mind-blowing and takes multiple listens to even begin to understand some of the crazy ***they do.

EDM = Electronic Dance Music though. Perhaps we're using the term to mean different things... but THE MARS VOLTA MAN.
