Children don't suck, some parents suck and by extension their children at times suck, but there's many factors: both my parents sucked, I was a hellian as a child, but I turned out to be a decent human being.
At least by my own standards. It's funny, I got into an argument yesterday with somebody (a family member) because the child they take care of was lying and getting upset while playing Super Mario Galaxy and I told him to stop lying and getting upset or he'd get punished, and that he needed to settle down. I got lectured saying that I want to punish him too much, when I know for a fact if he did that to her she'd slap him... /sigh edit: it wasn't really an argument, I rolled my eyes and walked away. The first groan I had when I leveled my SMN to 76 originally was 'oh god, summoning skill' but then I realized my BPs were giving me skillups (and pretty regularly). Was a very pleasant surprise.
