I don't like it either, it means I have to scroll left and right, my mouse doesn't have a left/right scroller, so I have to click on the annoying scroll bar.

Won't make much difference anymore. Nobody expects you to heal. I personally use WHM for reraise and erase when soloing since MP is not an issue.

Regarding SMN or BST:

I have both at 99 but I leveled them to 75 a long time ago.

SMN > BST for events.
BST > SMN for most (but not all) solo stuff.

But they are both fun in different ways. Summoner's just my favorite job so I'm biased.

As for subjobs on SMN, I typically go WHM or SCH for the 'na spells.... annnnnd I always try to keep my avatar out and a sacrifice torque in hand in case the alliance gets sleepga'd at events.

I rarely go /RDM unless I know I'm going to be in a situation where MP is going to be a big issue.

I disagree with that... Call beast timer seriously hinders a BST's ability to solo tougher, more damaging things. I've seen dozens of BSTs die to Caturae because they can't get their pet back out in time.

Probably why she said 'Most' stuff, which I agree. BST is more useful for day to day things.

I mean I disagree in general. I think SMN is a better soloer than BST. Call beast is only one of the hindrances.

I look at it this way. Anything a BST can solo a SMN can solo, yet SMN can solo a lot of things BST can't solo. I know it's not as black and white as this but it's a generalisation that favours SMN.

SMN is hugely situational for solo... Bst is all round the better choice...

Edit: Call beast is assisted by reward and pet PDT gear...
