Now, this is going to take dedication, and you don't have to do it if you don't want to, I'm more or less just curious to see if anyone can do it if they get bored enough.
Connections! Basically, someone would name off two actors that haven't been in a flick together. Then, a person must watch one movie with one of the actors. Keeping this in mind, the next movie that needs to be found is one with an actor from the movie you just watched that wasn't the original actor. Keep it going in this fashion until you get to the last actor named. For example: Freddie Prinze Jr. and John Goodman.
Just a thought, but if someone's got a lot of movies with a lot of time on their hands and want to try something new, that could be worth a try.

Not sure, guess I am picky on movies as well, unless it was 'King Ralph', not sure I would watch a movie with either actor.

It's simple... you can't create lift if no wind is going under the wings.

we're argueing cuz there's different interpretations and assumptions that causes conflicts with what the expected problem answer should be.
(we're trying to answer the physic's professor's final problem on his final exam)

The physics are correct. Lift is generated by airspeed. Forward motion is generated because the engine (jet or propeller) acts against the air, not the ground.
With enough forward motion* you will generate lift from the engine a stationary plane can take off.

I don't know why, but I thought it was funny. :x
*looks at clock*
I don't wanna go to work. x.x
Whoever got that for you is a genius. The important part of that movie isn't the plot or the story. It's the characters and the absurdity. I have yet to find a movie with characters that can match TBL.

That's actually pretty damn accurate to why that movie was so great lol. The story was silly as ***, but what really made it, was all of the actors playing their parts so wonderfully.

I would say that if there is anything else that draws me to that movie, it's probably the mimetic verisimilitude. Did you know that every "uh" and "um" and "***" that was spoken was actually scripted? If there's one thing that the Cohens know, it's dialogue.

The movie for me isn't about the plot.
It is about some great actors taking one of the most HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE scripts and making it good through their acting.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
