Hey, Ina! Do you know the correct way to cut a pomegranate? How would you slice it to get the seeds out of ever cavity before juicing it?

Also, has anyone tried chocolate covered pomegranate seeds? YUM!
ohuknow

Thanks.

Usually i just eat them in yoghurt <3

That sounds good too. I love summer. I just get plain yogurt and dump a ton of berries and fruit in it.

Honestly never done anything with pomegranate... but lets see if I can find out.

wiki says...

After opening the pomegranate by scoring it with a knife and breaking it open, the arils (seed casings) are separated from the peel and internal white pulp membranes. Separating the red arils is easier in a bowl of water, because the arils sink and the inedible pulp floats. Freezing the entire fruit also makes it easier to separate. Another very effective way of quickly harvesting the arils is to cut the pomegranate in half, score each half of the exterior rind four to six times, hold the pomegranate half over a bowl and smack the rind with a large spoon. The arils should eject from the pomegranate directly into the bowl, leaving only a dozen or more deeply embedded arils to remove.

This might help as well idk...

Edit: Were some comments on some of the videos about just cutting it open and beating it with a spoon but idk like i said never seeded one before.

Krizz will nuke that so fast lol... besides a lot of people from Texas deserve it. I mean that one guy started a thread about how Texas is leading the way in fiscal responsibilty and claiming superiority. Then went on about TX should be its own country... In the end it was all BS either way and was debunked but yea...

Edit: I've only been through TX twice and both times I've been pulled over for nothing more than being an out of towner lol... Weirdest experiences ever with cops. guy pulled me out of my car and talked to me for 20 minutes about where I went to school what I was studying if i had a gf and a hundred other questions...

but I'm biased.

I was joking more or less. I would never title a thread that way. I have to admit there have been a few times that I have cringed in the TX threads, but shhhhh! That's our little secret.

/winks

Huh? Why did he pull you over in the first place? Was he just feeling chatty or something? LOL!

Right? God! I felt so terrible for that boy at the Rangers game. Could you imagine watching your father die?

What was really weird was the fact that the guy was a fire fighter, and died at a baseball game? Sad.

I feel bad. Then I stop and think, do these idiots not think before they try these balancing acts just to catch a dumb ball? A ball isn't worth it if you ask me.

True. I just feel bad for the kid mostly.

I have an irrational fear of stadium seating though. When I was little they would hold Barnum and Bailey's Circus at Reunion Arena in Dallas (that shithole where the Mavs and Stars use to play).

I was four years old the first time I went. My parents had my face painted by a clown even though I was in tears, so I was already having a horrible time. Then, I just about panicked as we took our seats because the stairs were very steep. I had the elevator drop sensation in my stomach. I left to go to the restroom with my mom mid-show and almost fell backwards down the seats while trying to shimmy past this morbidly obese woman.
