I've been having XI cravings as well... I have no idea what I would do if I logged in though.

Would be neat if there were private servers where we could all low-man primary content and keep it in a niche.

My goal which sadly was scrapped due to a lack of patience and decent computer hardware was to record all the major mission cutscenes to compile a "FFXI movie" so to speak, so one could get the greatness of the expansion stories without having to put up with the MMO element. I think it has been done before, but in lesser video quality and in episodic nature. I'm sure with more time and a better PC on hand I could do this eventually. Perhaps when I upgrade this upcoming March.

We've tried this several times in the past but it never came into solid fruition. Ramuh was a good majority spot for awhile, but ultimately, every prolific poster was spread out and already had their friends, LS, and ambitions within their own servers. An idea like this would only work out well for a brand new game that hasn't come out yet. ARR anyone?
