I'm staying away from the kitchen. We don't have a very big kitchen and I feel like I'm in the way when I try to help. At least when we cook here, lol.
Usually kitchens are able to accommodate two or three people at a time. But there's something about making Thanksgiving dinner where there is no damn room and EVERYONE is in EVERYONE else's way.
Exactly! There's just too much going on, too much food being prepped/cooked, lol. Also, with the oven on it doesn't help the heat to have more bodies in there. Though I'm enjoying how warm the house is. Too bad I'm the only one. :x
Turkey is done and I just got reminded why I stopped using those pop up timers to begin with <_< it's a good thing I trust my gut when it comes to cooking. Went and got my thermometer and it was already over done (by a few degrees).
I haven't relied on one of those in years and for whatever reason decided 'meh screw it' this year. I didn't feel like having to clean my thermometer (lot of scrubbing pain in the ***.)
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
