holy crap mag, you should play dark souls one day
There is one point in that game after beating the gaping dragon and arriving at the bottom of blighttown that is pretty much "give up all hope" "*** kill me now I hate this *** game" atmosphere lol
And you find out they added a way to skip all that, making your pain even more painful lol
7 > 11 (I never read the cutscenes, every time one of them came up my buddy would yell at me over Vent: Mag, just spam through the cutscene! We don't have all night! After a while, it just became habit. /spamspamspamspam Hurry up, no one cares about your ohohoho ***, oh look it's Bahamut, I guess spamspamspam) > 9 > 12 > 10 > 8 > Dirge of Cerberus > a jumble I haven't played yet > 6

everyone should play dark souls at least once D:
I dun wanna... it looks scary...
edit: And by scary, I mean frustrating as ***. I really would like to keep my consoles and my tv rather than destroying them all in a fit of rage.
Same mag, but some players did an amazing job uploading the chapters online.
I'd check them out, I was surprised how good some of them were actually.
It's a shame that it became so common to spam through a CS that it was expected of you if you were in a group. If I was on my own or with a close friend though I'd take my time and enjoy them.

I should do that some day. I want to know what all the fuss is about with that Shantotto chick.
If I want strategy, I'll go play chess, which I'm terrible at. I much prefer the wanton stabbing. This is why I usually play the beefy warrior types in RPGs. FFXI being the odd man out, but mainly because I was coerced into being an RDM, and wouldn't you know it I actually liked the job.
You really do have to be able to take punishment, but you also have to have the foresight that if you do this then this is going to happen. If you don't know what is going to happen, choose the best option you can think of and observe what happens if you fail, that way you'll have a better understanding of what to do.
When most people rage quit the game, they are just rushing. They don't learn from their mistakes, they aren't trying to do something different. It just isn't that kind of game, the enemies can kick your *** if you make 1 small mistake, so you might as well pay attention and do what needs to be done.
Also, the ability to create basically any RPG class in the game is amazing. I'm using a divine hunter build with a divine bow and I'm having a blast.

I have a theory, that no real RDM ever chose the job... It somehow chose them.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
