I really liked 12 ._. Very traditional story with excellent voice acting. Just pretend that Ashe was supposed to be the main character :P

i couldn't get through nearly any of it, and i got the special edition. made me sad

I honestly haven't been playing. When I have been on I just level my NPC a bit. Been too busy catching up on console games.

/in a dungeon on a single player RPG: "Man, my MP is wearing thin, my HP isn't much better and I'm almost completely out of items! I hope I get to a town soon..."

/in a town: "Man, I'm bored in this town. I've already bought everything and rested up. I should go to a dungeon!"

/wash, rinse, repeat

I'd check them out, I was surprised how good some of them were actually.

It's a shame that it became so common to spam through a CS that it was expected of you if you were in a group. If I was on my own or with a close friend though I'd take my time and enjoy them.

Dark Souls is easy, really

You just have to have patience, if you don't then... don't play Dark Souls. >.>;

It's a very strategic game, you plan your attacks and it isn't just stab stab stab stab stab you're dead, repeat.

I should do that some day. I want to know what all the fuss is about with that Shantotto chick.

if you want to rage quit and drive yourself nuts you play Dark Souls.

If I want strategy, I'll go play chess, which I'm terrible at. I much prefer the wanton stabbing. This is why I usually play the beefy warrior types in RPGs. FFXI being the odd man out, but mainly because I was coerced into being an RDM, and wouldn't you know it I actually liked the job.

You really do have to be able to take punishment, but you also have to have the foresight that if you do this then this is going to happen. If you don't know what is going to happen, choose the best option you can think of and observe what happens if you fail, that way you'll have a better understanding of what to do.

When most people rage quit the game, they are just rushing. They don't learn from their mistakes, they aren't trying to do something different. It just isn't that kind of game, the enemies can kick your *** if you make 1 small mistake, so you might as well pay attention and do what needs to be done.

Also, the ability to create basically any RPG class in the game is amazing. I'm using a divine hunter build with a divine bow and I'm having a blast.

I have a theory, that no real RDM ever chose the job... It somehow chose them.

It was never my thing, either.
