Would likely max it,its above recommended current spec anyways, and I hear its going down lower for 2.0
Whoa now, lets not go overboard.
Maxing old XIV on my rig stresses the GPU hard...of course by maxing I mean shadows and AA...without AA and shadows you can max every other stat most likely...maybe not textures because map scales but it'd run it fine.
Well like I said in my post, its above the recommended spec on the box (i know,i know how it works) but if anything, upgrade that GPU listed, thats the biggest "holdback" of the setup, especially at 1gb
Oh yeah I was just poking fun.
For all extensive purposes it'll run it at near-max. Which is good enough for most people, just people like me who have to run it at max even though our GTX 590's cry because it's shadows and AA rapes it,
Thats mostly down to poor programming/optimization on SE's part,a 590 should be able to handle 16x and complex shadows easily on a game like that in a perfect world.I play XIV with dual GTX 690's and unless i use the recommended settings on the official site, the game is unplayable. Now I realize that the 6xx series arent supported by XIV yet because its being added with 2.0,but thats pretty much nothing us hardware owners are at fault for.Your 590's are beasts as it is,when 2.0 rolls around,im 99% confident you'll max it in any/every situation
