I still barely understand anything in XIV,cant be bothered learning with 2.0 coming soon and servers going down in 2 weeks
BAH!!! my new mobo doesn't support 5.1 :| only silly 2.1 x.x shoulda specified I wanted a motherboard with 8 channel on it lol.
ah well ... I'll just buy a sound card :3 Onboard sound is the devil! Shame on you for not including a Creative Sound Blaster card.

Unless you're a huge audiophile, or you're hooking up specialty equipment, onboard audio is usually good enough standard now.

I honestly never bothered with anything other then onboard on my other PC so I wouldn't with this one but since I have a 5.1 system I might as well dish out the few bucks to get the sound card so I can use it.

Most places pass, Newegg, go for it. They treat their customers right, if there's some issue it'll be fixed.
That's what I'd do anyways. I'm against Quiznors in general.
