The new generations look so dumb but I do like the new features. They really need secret bases though.

I kinda think there is too much emphasis on raising the number of pokemon each installment by such a large number. I agree that to some degree, emphasis was heavily put into expanding the list of pokemon, rather than fine tuning or innovating new gameplay mechanics into it. To the point where some new pokemon are downright abstract. But alas, it would be difficult to successfully pan out a franchise into multiple generations and game SKUs with just touch-ups and minor improvements alone.

Sadly most GC games are out of print, so my odds of obtaining a copy of that are slim to none. But I was essentially ranting saying if they wanted, they could significantly, to a downright thematic level, expand pokemon to a demograph and platform outside dinky handhelds and the niche familiarity and comfort zone so to speak.
