I don't like swimming, it's fantastic exercise but I sink so quickly I have to swim furiously just to stay a float :(

I play a lot of DDR so I'm decently conditioned for it.



That's the rope I use. Valeo speed rope.

one good exercise program is the 10 minute trainer - tons of cardio and resistance bands.

I can swim pretty good, though i rarely go swimming

Just got back from working out... doing high weight low reps this week. I double fist curled 105 pounds and felt all RAWR after it.

( '-')b 3 weeks now and I'm still feeling pretty good. I like the nutritionist my wife and I have been seeing a lot (she's very realistic about expectations), and have actually been building up the will power to go work out.

Another month or so of weight/stamina stuff and I'm gonna hit cardio hard. Been doing about 20 minutes on the bike every night before I really "start" my workout, usually get ~4.5 miles done in one episode of Bleach. Soon though, Bleach while biking will be stopped and I will be back to running. Thinking I might try a weighted vest while running to help.

=( Unfortunately virtually 0 of all the physical agility tests out there are anything strength based and are almost all cardio. It makes sense, because in a fire situation the guy who blows through his SCBA in 3 minutes while all the other guys can go 6~8 minutes screws everyone up.

(For those of you who don't know, in a fire everyone enters at the same time, every leaves at the same time... all team based, so it all boils down to the weakest member.)

For goodness sakes, skipped into the music thread, somebody posted Dr Jones by Aqua, I didn't even play it, in fact I gtfo there asap... alas it was too late, it's started playing on the never ending stereo of my mind... I'm sure I will enjoy cycling to Aqua for the next 2 hours -.-
