Opinions.
Personally, I find some normally unbearable mobile suits (Phoenix Gundam and it's twig-ness for example) look better in SD form, but I have yet to see a suit that looks worse in SD form than it usually does. :x

He's a backstabbing jackass with a god complex. :I
He's from Gundam 00, which I consider to be the best main series in terms of story and graphics (for season 1 at least; season 2 had some QUALITY moments and fan pandering made the story more generic). A lot of nice mech designs, too. :O
