There's no scientific evidence at all to support that theory.
I certainly felt more aggressive and motivated during times I wasn't having sex.
I was going to argue with you...but then you agreed with me so I uh um a um...yeah
yes depriving yourself of sex makes you more aggressive and meaner, I'm not aware of any studies on this subject but um
/checks the tos
It doesn't say anything in the tos that I have to back up my posts with citations or a bibilography, professor... so I aint gunna!
Well, I mean there have been studies done and the results showed no physical performance gain, they actually showed a better preparation for athletes because the guys in the study slept better after sex obv. However, it would make sense on a primal level, guys have an instinctual desire to mate and if you look at nature, just about every other mammal will fight for mating rights, so it absolutely makes sense that aggression can be linked with need for sex.
However, numbers don't lie. When I mentioned feeling more fired up, my power lifting capabilities and power output in bike races was no different than with sex and my ring performances were unaffected (granted that's alot more difficult to judge).
Edit: I should add that this was also the case with mass participation studies, not just my own experiences.
It's a placebo effect, but placebo effects can do funny things to the mind!
