Gosh darn it, I have been so proud of myself for eating Cream of Wheat for breakfast most days instead of Cocoa Pebbles. But this conversation has me glancing at the box.

Ingredients: Wheat farina (the heck is farina? oh hi Google), brown sugar, sugar, guar gum (the heck is guar? it's me again Google), salt, partially defatted wheat germ.
But seriously, the second-most abundant ingredient in my healthiest cereal food is brown sugar. D:
