Works out even better if you're there close to lunch that day. Then it's an easy, "Hey, if you're going to lunch soon, how'd you like to stop somewhere with me?"

It's not that I'm comfortable, small talk is easy. It's thinking about asking her out that makes me like, nervous, I guess? :S

Shoot, I can joke with her WHILE she's sticking me, but I'm not brave enough to so much as hint at anything.

I'm sure she's got a tattoo somewhere too but I only ever see her in scrubs or in a long white medical robe thing.

She's a trained phlebotomist and it's not exactly a sterile medical environment. They use sterile equipment though.
