Ugh, I signed up for 3 summer classes that started today. I don't know why I though that they would be lighter versions of a normal class for the summer, I guess I figured teachers have better things to do and know that people who take summer classes are most likely working etc I dunno. Instead they are all apparently going to cram 3 times as much stuff in each week. I mean... 10 quizzes, a midterm, a final, and a 5 page paper for a six week course, what the hell. We are going to have to take multiple quizzes per week to pull that off.

Summer classes are twice the work of normal classes since they cram everything into a couple months vs the normal school class time.

yep sounds like a typical summer course lol, that's why i won't take them

Oh well at least I won't be bored this summer.

I have some good stuff happening today, starting with a career planning course (I've been unemployed since last June due to medical), Resume Writing, and Interview Skills.

There's been an unfortuneate trend with employers as of late, which have gone against some of the Alberta Employment laws. One company had actually taken pictures of potential recruits during an interview process, which isn't allowed. The reason it's not allowed is simple: they can use it as a grounds for not hiring someone, based on a visual conception of someone's ethnicity.

Other poorly accepted trends that make it far more difficult to land a job include speaking to an interviewer, who continually asks personal non-work related questions, or an interviewer who hasn't been trained to look over a potential hiree.

All that said, there are definetly things a candidate needs to be aware of: How they dress for the interview, personal grooming, how they act, are they knowledgeable about the employer, industry, etc.

Took car to the dealership this morning to be looked at and I got a recall letter anyway for a couple things.

then work called to see if I could come in today....newp...I mean I suppose I might get my car back before 3 but newp why risk it?. Only day off is only day off and I need to do laundry.

Well it was really nice out when I was comming home, now it just looks like rain though XD

What killed Aion for me (back when I played long ago lol) was the Abyss. I leveled a Templar, which cannot PvP worth squat before level 50, so the forced PvP made it nearly impossible for me to do anything.

I loved it before that point, though it is a lot like WoW. I guess that's why I went back to WoW recently >.>
