Well, Trent deserves credit for creating the song, but in this case I've heard both versions, and to me Johnny's just got more feeling in it. Like you can just hear all the years of anguish and pain he's gone through, and that he's at the end of his rope. Not to say Trent wasn't but... I guess it's just preference on top of it.
Like, I get what you're sayin, and it really is preference, but give the man his due.... Johnny's life was a lot of strife and ***, and his version was pretty frakkin great, that is true. But it really is Trent's song lol I'll agree with that. Credit where credit is due.

For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
