At least I got "tunnel" out of his post.

The rest of it went more in the direction of him not being tired because he's been digging a tunnel, like in The Great Escape.

Oh, what I meant by that was that I have an explanation for why you're so tired, and that I was going to tell you, but then my phone was DCing in the tunnel. It's still early for me. 10:45 at the moment. Yay for Arizona time!

I found 3 of them.
Need 5 sources total, Primary is one. So with my 3 Articles and my Primary I only need one more. And only 1 of the sources really needs to be used a lot. The one I told you about "The horror! The Horror!" is actually a really quality source because it discusses HoD as a Gothic novel and thus hits a lot on the Darkness as a symbol to express Conrad's themes.

Yeah, I got what he was doing... I just didn't realize it actually said something in between the random symbols until you posted it. Then I re-read it and I could see where all the missing words would fit.

My ability to comprehend posts seems to drop off drastically after midnight. :/

Hey Mag, I got a horrible idea.
Imagine Marlow becoming senile and having to be an attendant at that nursing home.
I'm pretty sure I'd off myself after 3 days.

Gothic? Hmm. So do these sources help to compare how HoD and Victorian era literature stack up to Romantic work? That for some reason always interests me.

Both era's had great works.

Yeah just take Colonial Africa and replace it with Post-Colonial Southeast Asia.

Edit: Literally that's all Coppola did.

Yep. You know, when I first watched Apocalypse Now!, I thought it was just ridiculous and confusing. After reading HoD and watching it again... I felt exactly the same.

Not sure accomplished is the right word. But I am finally feeling sleepy, and since my goal was to keep busy talking to people until I was sleepy... I suppose it did accomplish something.

Also, your use of :3 at the end just made me miss the person I was talking about (more than I already did). /sigh and whatnot, I suppose.

Night, everyone.

I have no idea. But I still have the godawful "Live fast, die young" mindset ala James Dean. So hopefully my death will be something like this.

See, and that's why I would think you'd more about Romantic literature, especially after reading stuff from people like Keats and Shelley. Lots of Greek influences in there. If I had to choose, I would be all about the Romantic era. I love the thought of the focus on the common man. As for Victorian, all I can really think about is Wuthering Heights. Well, that and HoD.

For the longest time I thought it'd be heart disease. But if I had to choose now, I'd say stress induced.

True, but I think even the painful reads in the Victorian Era hold great literary value.
Like I said I like both, but The Importance of Being Earnest is one of my favorite plays and fit the writing I did so well. I only chose HoD because it's so easy to write a 5 page paper on lol.

And absolutely, HoD is easy to get 5 pages out of. Especially when it's all laden with quotes. What's your approach towards this paper?
