Should deck out your glasses now for a better chance at winning the lottery. because that's just how it works.
It's true! I'm temporarily boycotting the lottery because their radio ads positively massacred and destroyed the song "With a Little Bit of Luck" from "My Fair Lady." Messing with "My Fair Lady" is a sin! So in a completely infantile fit of disgust, I refuse to buy lottery tickets until I get over it. But then I will win! I know it! ^^
i have my class ring ive been wearing since 2007 lol and now since ive gained weight it wont come off and my finger even looks extra chubby but i feel no pain and its not like its cutting off the circulation to it. my mom wants me to go to some jewelry place and have them cut it off but she says they can fix it and make it the right size :I i wonder if thats true or ill just lose my ring :( i like my ring lol
My mom has her prescription glasses that have a clip-on style shade that fits on her small frames. They actually stay and don't look horrible either. Then she has a pair that's permanently tinted, that are darker than the clip-on, that she uses when she's at the beach or somewhere else that is insanely bright.
Is that an option for either of you?
It's an option! Clip-ons sound kinda nice actually. But I plan to win the lottery and get 'em fixed soon, so I don't want to get my glasses too decked out. :D
Snow is the worst. Sunshine reflects off it and straight into your face. Can't look up, the sky is bright. Can't look down, the snow is bright. lol
If you haven't already, look into polarized lenses. That is, if you do decide to go the clip-on route. They help tremendously with glare from water, snow, hoods on vehicles, etc.. Really anything that is above or below your horizon.

They can adjust the size if you just take it in, but I don't know if they can do that if they cut it off. You could call and ask them, and if it doesn't sound promising then don't let them touch it. /comfort

I'm fairly sure they can repair a broken band. Hell, I almost completely destroyed my class ring and the people I got it from fixed it like it was brand new (it might have been a new ring, but it didn't cost me anything). I've also gotten it re-sized twice for free. I got my ring through Herff Jones (sp?) if it's of any curiosity.
So the eggs benedict pizza was a hit. Even the soy flour dough was good. I'm... a bit surprised considering it smelled like butt.
Well even normal (but good) dough kinda stinks.. It's definitely not an aroma you smell and think "I must ingest this now!".
True, but with regular flour dough I'm used to the scent. It's not bad, and the yeast sorta makes it smell a bit like beer. But the soy... it was like alfalfa sprouts that had been rolling around in dirt. But, the proof is in the flavor, and it tasted fine. This is why I wonder if that fermented fish they keep talking about on this forum from Sweden would actually taste good...

From what I know it's an acquired taste.. So I'd imagine not.
The whole idea of fermented fish would keep me from ever acquiring the taste... All my fish needs to be cooked in a southern style.. I won't even eat sushi, but I'd damn sure eat sushi before that stuff.

I'm VERY particular about my seafood.
Raw fish is nasty, but I much prefer baked or grilled over fried any day. But that applies to all food, really. Like grilled salmon... sooooo damn good.
See, I've never tried to make sour dough before. Unless you have to do something particular with it though, it'd make an awesome pizza dough. I wonder if that'd be better as the dough for the ruben pizza I make on occasion.

With sourdough you just need to make a starter first, basically you make a very wet bread mix, cover it, and let it sit out at room temperature for a couple of weeks. You need to check to make sure it's good before you use it, don't recall off the top of my head what to look for, but as long as it passes the check, you're good to go. Once you got a starter, you just replace whatever you take out, like if you take out half the starter, then you just replace it with equal flour/water or something like that.. The idea is to just keep it going.
That's kinda crazy, now that I'm looking at it. I read up on it, and apparently starters have been passed down from generation to generation. As long as you replace what you make, you'll basically have this starter for as long as you want. Intriguing stuff...

They can make rings bigger, it's just more expensive, when they're sizing them down, they just have to remove material and mate the pieces and buff it out so you can't tell where it was cut. To make it bigger they have to add to it, and it has to be shaped to match material + extra time = more expensive.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
