Hmmm, do I start up a fresh game of FFX so I can give it another chance and a better opportunity to understand how it ended? I last played it when I was 13, and I actually didn't care for the ending. It felt like the whole Bobby Ewing thing :<
Either that or I finish off FFXII, as I made it through like 85% of the game and lost my freakin memory card.

Forgot it was winter of 2001.
Then FFX definitely. Your life has moved to a point where you'll finally be able to relate to the characters in FFX. It took me 7 years after my original playthrough to get that feeling.
I was the same way, didn't really get it when it first came out but played through again the other year and can't really explain it but everything was just better.
I could understand the conflictions and emotions per character, it was just the semi-deus ex machina ending that kinda annoyed me. But perhaps I overlooked factors that legitimized it. After all I was just a dumb teenager back then.

My second play through was better. CI paid more attention and connected with it better I think.
I just remember things didn't make much sense to me back when it came out... then when I came back older, wiser(lol) and with more experience in the fantasy genre it was actually pritty straight forward and simple.

Aye. I suppose if I can comprehend a film like Inception without a second viewing (though it was awesome enough to see many times), I suppose a second bout for FFX will do it the justice it deserves than my teenage lack of perception. Though I am still skeptical because I know how it ends :/

If you end up with empty slots, something like this (in your style)
2 weapons, mianly close range slashing attacks, with distance closers and appear behind moves from a range would be my idea, not sure what kinda details you need.

-Thunder trust: same as WS
-Iron Tail: Jumps forward, swinging your spear
-Thunder: Tosses spear upwards, and after striking the ground, Lighing falls on it

I don't see why it'd be too much. Could have your wyvern appear for certain special attacks like Spaths automaton.
