Random Thoughts.....What Are You Thinking?

Those commercials suck. I don't know anyone who doesn't get sad seeing those. I can watch a million commercials about starving children in Africa no problem, but those, just sad.

It like those people who stand outside of super markets looking for money for like new cheerleader uniforms or the poor at x-mas. Don't even acknowledge them. But when it's the ASPCA looking for donations, I'll toss them $10-$20 and buy some generic cat and dog food to give them when I walk out.

looks like I'll need at least $1k to upgrade my PC to something that would pass by for now.

I wish I had the money and the space to help more dogs. I'm not sure why cats don't tug on my heartstrings the same way dogs do, it's awful for them too.

One of the main reasons I wanted to learn to sew was to make new blankets and pillows for animal shelters. When we went and visited two or three shelters searching for our second dog, none of the dogs had pillows and their blankets were ratty, dirty, torn. Some of them sleep outside and those blankets in a small wooden dog house are their only warmth. This is Idaho :x it gets cold. Just giving all the dogs a new, warm blanket would make me happy for days.

My two dogs together have two quilts, two chenille blankets, one towel of their own to snuggle, and two pillows that are each about twice the size of my pillow and a gazillion times more comfy than my pillow. I like it that way. xD

Dang, Catnip! :-( That kinda sucks.

Yeah, the one that always gets me is the Shih-Tzu. It reminds me of my mom's dog and I honestly want to reach through the tv and snag it away so I can spoil it with treats.

hey hey mag, the lag on swtor may not be your fault. they built the game really shitty and didnt optimize it well so even people with good systems are getting hit with horrible lag. i have a system that should play it well but i get terrible lag

Well, I'm sure to a point it's my machine. My friends all have better computers (laptops all, surprisingly) but they get little to no lag. Some planets get some lag more than others, but they're able to function in PVP arenas whereas I have a problem simply moving forward. Like yesterday I had to pop a mob on Voss, and by the time I interacted with the object and he popped (while I'm locked up in a lag from the interaction) by the time I'm able to control my character, I'm able to get one hit in before I get stomped. So yeah, they still get lag, but I'm hoping not nearly as bad as I get.

That and I could use the new computer for other things. Like, uh... Youtube?

I don't get barely any lag on TOR :x


I did when I only had 4gb ram but since I upgraded I've noticed less and less.

theres lots of people with high end machines with 8+gb ram that have terrible lag on it, it only effects some but not others for some reason

on another note, i finished my blackjack program =D

its probably a nightmare to read atm but it works damnit

I'd pay off my student loans, my husband's student loans, get electrolysis all over, get my eyes lasik'd, insist on a humongous yard with room for lots of dogs (but no more than 5 or so, I don't think I could give more than 5 all the individual attention and love they'd need) and a pool. And hot tub. And sauna. In my bedroom. Yes!

I'm doing well I suppose. Somewhat dreading the week ahead, but that's normal. lmao
