Eh i like little boys better too, but i think it's mostly cause people spoil their little girls and try to make them into cute little princesses <.<
If i ever get a girl i will just raise her like a boy and everything will be fine xD
Indeed, boys, as obnoxious as they can be, tend to at least get a general idea of what is socially acceptable and what isn't in the grand scheme of being raised. Girls on the other hand...
Books like that exist because of feminism, Arte. I swear it. If anyone, even a woman, made a book with a title like "girls are stupid, throw rocks at them" there would be hell to pay. But we can hurl the equivalent of this (and things much more offensive) at males with no consequence. There's even adult books along the same lines. There's an honest-to-goodness book for woman on how to "train" your man like he was a dog. Disgusting.
Siobhan
Anya
Fiona
Jessica (my name was supposed to be Jessica. My dad insisted at the last minute that I be named after him instead. >< Jessica would have been so much better! Dang it, Daddy!)
Sophie
Celia
Jasmine or Jessamyn
Cutest little boy, maybe 10 or something just told me out of nowhere that i have 'pretty eyes' lol
Way to make my day little future casanova <3
Also Liela you can have Jack, but leave Riddick to me kthx .-.
Awwwww...Little boys can be such sweethearts! You know, I think I've met more sweet and polite kid and toddler boys than I have girls in the past decade. Weird.
/panics
I know I'm going to end up with girls for karmic retribution. I know it!
Yet somehow books like these get made and published.
Edit: Just noticed the book's author is male. Hrm..
True, but I do remember some butthole boys while growing up, then again all kids are turds to each other at some point.
I didn't realize how much I loved boys until I was teaching ballet in high school. The chatterbox tendency in girls starts so early! Some days I just wanted to scream, "Shut up jabberjaws!" Even when baby sitting you notice that girls are a little harder to entertain. They just want to go from one activity to the next now now NOW! All the boys I've been around are content with just milling around with you in the backyard, drawing, or playing with Legos as long as you're with them.
Ugh! When we were trying to introduce polite words to my nephew when he was one-and-a-half or two he would just pluck at every one of my heartstrings, "Peeeash I have a miiiiilk?" "Dank ooo."
Everything of course is relative and subjective per individual, but I've observed a correlation of girls being spoiled by the position of their sex and using it to their advantage. It's bad enough fancying yourself as a perfect untouchable princess, but to have the dish it out but can't take it attitude is indeed killing chivalry, as kindness and sincerity are mistaken for ulterior motives in efforts to flatter their own ego D: Women are a paradox, pure and simple.
Nah it's all right, steal whichever ones you want. ^^ Fiona is a nod to my Irish heritage (as is Siobhan, Anye (although in Ireland it's spelled Aine), Rohan, Seamus, Lochlan, and Reilly.) And Gabriel is just a really nice-sounding name. I love the sound of it.
I went to grade school with a girl named Jessamyn and always thought it was the prettiest name. She liked to be called Jessa or Jess, though. She moved away in the fourth or fifth grade and I always wondered what became of her. :-(
For those that don't know, there's a side quest in Chrono Trigger where a woman named Fiona lives in a cabin surrounded by a beautiful forest, which due to obstructed events in time caused a horrible monster to kill off the forest and turn it into an arid inhabitable desert. Thanks to the efforts of your protagonists, the monster is killed and the forest has a chance to come back to life. However, not without years and years of painstaking effort and protection, thanks to the steadfast and noble efforts of Fiona and Robo. She gave her life to protecting the forest in honor of her long passed husband.
It really is a touching story for a two-dimensional sixteen bit RPG from 1995 :P
Call me crazy, but I also like the name Anya because of Gears of War. She is just so cute in the games, and so sweet and badass at the same time in the books. Marcus shoulda got off his bum and got that girl before the whole world died! Silly guy! I loved playing as her in the last game.

Fiona Apple too is an excellent songwriter. Though I didn't mention her intentionally as not to seem superficial as it being the reason to name a girl Fiona. Though that is rather contrary since I mentioned it from a video game lol.
I think I have more boy names on my list than girl names. Last time there was a name listing thread I found out that Serj's name was August. That's one of my favorites!
August, Lukas, Nolan, Conrad, Kristian...There are some more. My brain isn't fully functioning ATM.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
