Actually if you wanna worry about a catastrophic event that is long overdue, start worrying about Yellowstone.. It erupts with a very regular (even called clockwork) pattern, and it is now 10's of thousands of years overdue.. And studies done suggest it has been getting more actively recently..
It's a super-volcano and it's eruption would effect the entire planet, not to mention it would cover a very large chunk of North America in ash.. The scale of a super-volcano is almost unimaginable.. Like trying to grasp the size of the Universe.
Of course, what all it would do in detail is purely speculative, as there is no written record of the last.. But it is based in mathematical formula.
Fixing to.. I was finishing up reading that story about Majora's Mask..
<.<; Why did you remind me!
You didn't read it, or you did?
Not that creepy really.. The videos are creepier than the story itself. There are Are you Afraid of the Dark episodes, that even now, still creep me out more.

I did. >.>; I don't know why it creeped me out as much as it did. But it really hit a nerve for some reason.
I've still never played the game.. Actually, I haven't played a Zelda game since OoT.. I honestly haven't seen the point... To me, OoT was about as close to video game perfection as you'll ever get.. I've watched people play others, including MM, but all I could think the entire time was how it didn't measure up to OoT.. I'm just not going to have a fun experience if the entire time all I'm doing is comparing the game to something else, and I just can't help but do it with Zelda..
Zelda 1 and 2 were a little before my time.. I didn't have my first gaming system til well after their release.. But I picked up Link's Awakening and A Link to the Past (strangely in that order) and it's always been this upward arc.. It'll take something that surpasses OoT before I'll play another Zelda game.
Glad I'm not in school anymore, cuz when break was over it would still take me a month to stop writing 2011 and having to scribble out the 1 and put a 2..

Twilight princess actualy does this, tho some people bashed it cuz of the wolf thingy, it starts slow but it surpasses OoT emencely.
SS is just long lol (took me 5.5 hours to get to the first boss) but it's still pretty good (and hopefully not giving anything away here but opens up a second timelins/paradox like OoT did

I don't know, I always felt like most of the Zelda games were on the level of OoT. Except maybe Zelda 2(I beat it but I don't know, it just wasn't as good. Also, *** the last bosses.)
Thinking about it now, I don't think OoT was even my favorite. I actually think that Majora's Mask was my favorite. I loved the whole mask system, the fact you could kill the bosses whenever you wanted and had a ton of sidequests. Made for a lot of game time.

I still don't have Skyward Sword. >.< Curse being poor.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
