rejection letter was actually what made me join the army
Lol I knew a few people in the navy like that. Or they got in and couldn't afford it. Or partied too much and failed out
I have so much respect for people in the navy or who have been x.x I just worked out with the seals, Holy *** ***. it hurts to type right now, and they have to do that all day every day until they get accepted... i have no idea how that's even possible.
isnt that just the seals thou (no offense to those in the navy just asking)

idk, but still, if you're deployed in any branch of the military you must be going through hell.
and would have ended up as a college dropout with student loans
lol then working at mcdonalds until youre 40 to pay off the school you didnt finish, a big part of college just seems like a scam.. telling kids they have to do it and then gouging them on everything from books to dorms to meal plans at state funded schools with all their instructors being TAs.. *** yo!

yeah, i agree, there are *** painstakingly planned systems in place to screw kids out of money they don't have
and that they haven't figured out they'll have to pay back one day

NO the rest of the navy doesn't usually do that except EOD or divers and of course the seals. Sometimes your command migth get all crazy and make you do some required PT but that's about it.
And depends on what you are doing and command climate alot. But yes it has a high potential for sucking. Especially when the general answer to any problem is throw more military man-hours at it. I've definitely seen them waste over 200 man hours of our time to save the shipyard like 10...
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
